Elgon Lifeline Support (ELS) is a community-based NGO rooted in Trans Nzoia County, Kenya. We work with women, widows, children, and vulnerable families to rebuild lives through empowerment, counseling, and sustainable livelihoods.

Girl Child Menstrual Education & Empowerment
Many girls in Kenya miss school due to lack of sanitary pads and menstrual education. Elgon Lifeline Support provides menstrual health education and sanitary supplies to ensure that periods do not stop girls from pursuing their dreams.

Education for All – Supporting Every Child’s Right to Learn
We believe every child deserves an education regardless of background. Our Education for All program supports children in slums and rural villages with the tools they need to succeed.
We provide school uniforms, books, and scholarships.
We run school feeding programs so children can focus on learning.
We advocate for equal access to education for both boys and girls.
Impact: Hundreds of children who once risked dropping out are now in school, learning, and thriving.
House Building for Vulnerable Families
Shelter is a basic need, yet many families in slums and rural villages live in unsafe, makeshift houses. Elgon Lifeline Support builds decent homes for vulnerable families, widows, and orphans.
Families now live in dignity and safety.
Children have secure places to study and sleep.
Communities are strengthened by collective support.
Impact: Overjoyed families now have safe and permanent housing solutions.
Education
Water is life, yet many communities in Kenya still walk long distances to fetch unsafe water. Elgon Lifeline Support has drilled boreholes and installed water systems to bring clean water closer to homes, schools, and farms.
Reduced cases of waterborne diseases like cholera and typhoid.
Girls no longer miss school to fetch water.
Families have safe water for drinking, cooking, and irrigation.
Impact: Thousands of people now enjoy access to clean, safe, and reliable water sources.
